Archivio Segreto: CAM Sugar’s unreleased tapes
Tickets will be available in autumn
The CAM Sugar catalogue preserves more than two thousand original soundtracks spanning decades of Italian cinema. Within this archive, sonic experimentation coexists with popular culture. Every box opened within the collection reveals a fragment of our shared history; every tape is a journey into an era in which filmmakers and composers constantly experimented with new visual and sonic languages. Through the work of three iconic composers of Italian cinema – Ennio Morricone, Piero Piccioni and Piero Umiliani – Andrea Fabrizii guides audiences through rediscovered and restored recordings drawn from the label’s archive. A listening journey that moves beyond a purely historical perspective, approaching these works instead as living, contemporary pieces still deeply capable of speaking to the present day.
