TicketsTomorrow Comes The Harvest is a living musical concept built on exploration, improvisation, and the pursuit of elevated states of consciousness through rhythm and sound. More than a group, it is an evolving framework where intersecting traditions meet in spontaneous dialogue.
The project was originally initiated by Afrobeat pioneer Tony Allen and Detroit techno innovator Jeff Mills. Both artists, deeply rooted in musical traditions that transcend entertainment and move toward spiritual and collective elevation, joined forces with acclaimed keyboardist Jean-Phi Dary. Together, the trio toured internationally, developing a unique live language built entirely on improvisation and rhythmic conversation until Tony Allen’s passing in 2020. By then, the conceptual foundation of Tomorrow Comes The Harvest had been firmly established, resilient and ready to evolve.
In the years that followed, Mills continued to reconfigure the concept, inviting new musicians into the framework while preserving its core philosophy. Today, Tomorrow Comes The Harvest enters a new formation featuring Kader Hamza, a guitarist of Ivorian and Moroccan descent.
Kader Hamza brings a deep, grounded sensibility to the ensemble, blending jazz fluency with contemporary rhythmic awareness. His guitar work anchors the improvisational explorations while allowing harmonic and percussive elements to move freely around it.
New music under the Tomorrow Comes The Harvest name continues to be released via Axis Records, further expanding the project’s evolving catalogue and reinforcing its position at the intersection of electronic futurism and organic improvisation.
Tomorrow Comes The Harvest remains dedicated to exploring the unknown, transcending boundaries through intersecting sounds, cultures, and improvisational movements. Each performance is a singular moment of creation, shaped by those present and guided by the shared pursuit of something beyond the visible horizon.
